While I’m still conflicted about how quickly Korra gained the ability to go into the Avatar state, I feel like people are forgetting that this series was only supposed to be like, one season? It’s going to be different than what Aang went through, obviously more condensed, and I know that isn’t an excuse for poor pacing, but it was still meant to be a short series. From what I’ve heard, they didn’t get the license/rights/whatever it’s called to create a second season until this one was finished or basically all written up. 

idk, maybe my facts are a little skewed, but we all knew this wasn’t going to be long anyway so like?? idk. just my two cents on the deal.
